lay the jacket flat,measure straight across from the bottom of the armhole to the bottom of the other armhole.

Back Length

Measure the back length from the neck seam at center back straight down to the bottom edge.

Sleeve Length

Measure from the shoulder straight down to the sleeve edge.

Shoulder width

Measure from the top of the armhole at the shoulder across to the other side.

The safari jacket has a rich history in these narratives.
